Made a lousy effort at posting a blog in Chinese. Gave up and deleted it. someone complained my blog is "BORING". hmmm okie, stil haven't tot of wat to post, got some nice pics from Ubin. Ubin's changed a lot from the last time i've been there abt 6-7 yrs ago. less mountain tracks. din manage to sneak into the quarry lakes. used to climb in thru holes in the fences.

now they have guided tours to Chek Jawa which is a natural mangrove swamp with lots of marine life to see at low tide. saw kingfisher, mudskipper and LOTS LOTS LOTSA hermit crabs! whole mud land is teeming with life! so nice, such simple kampong life. but seem that it's getting less n less kampong, with NParks controlling the no. of visitors to Chek Jawa, the quarry lakes being sealed up, and the chalets n resorts being built up.

we saw a rainbow on the ferry ride back. it disappeared very fast, only managed to make it more obvious after some editing.
